This recycled fleece hood is very comfortable but is not warm enough for anything freezing or below. I bought mine to go Churchill in Manitoba last October where temps dropped as low as -10 C and this didn't help with the cold at all. Nice fashion accessory

While our fleece hood is great for mild to cool conditions, it's not designed for extreme cold weather environments like the sub-zero temperatures you experienced in Manitoba.
